Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) is within
the Earth Institute at Columbia University. CIESIN works at the intersection
of the social, natural, and information sciences.

access to laboratories, research centres, and other EPA scientific organizations.
The
work of the LEAD initiative, located within the FAO, focuses on the close and
